History

An interesting historical detail is the former presence of its own station along the Arnhem-Zutphen railway line, operational from 1882 to 1917. This station, born out of an agreement with Mr Metelerkamp of De Wildbaan estate, marks an era when Leuvenheim's accessibility was significantly improved. Although trains no longer stop here, Leuvenheim now forms a hub for cyclists, walkers and horse riders who want to discover the beauty of the area at their own pace.
