Fresh, honest and nearby!

In 2021, the first 2,000 trees and shrubs were planted on the site. Before that, it was a corn field. Now it is a place where nature blooms and food grows. Henk Hendriks wants to grow food in a
sustainable way and uses no fertilisers or pesticides. Birds and predatory insects help control pests. So do moles and hedgehogs. To attract the insects
and birds, native trees and shrubs have been planted in the edges of the food forest. In doing so, we contribute to variety in the landscape. It is possible to become a friend and thus support the food forest. You can do so by taking out a self-picking subscription to harvest fruit, nuts and herbs, or maintain the food forest together and enjoy working outside in nature.
