Discover the history of the paper industry in and around Apeldoorn with the Tour de Papier! After all, the many brooks and springs made this area a cradle of the paper industry, and those traces are still visible! Along the way, you will pass several mills such as the Middelste Molen, where paper has been produced since 1622. Or make a stop at the Loenense Waterfall where you can admire the two largest waterfalls in the Netherlands.
Tip: Combine this route with the cycle route Paper here in Eerbeek. These routes are linked via the cycle junctions and the Veluwsche Steam Train Company will take you to the starting location in Eerbeek this summer!
